About Aris
I'm Aris, a graduate student in Berlin, which means I fly Athens–Berlin more often than some flight crews. My semester is a loop: lectures and the cinema archive in Berlin, family and real food in Athens. My mother actually found Carry before I did — she firmly believes no child of hers should fly empty-handed.
The first thing I carried was a vintage film camera wrapped in three sweaters. It arrived with my luggage, my notes, and my dignity intact, and I was hooked. Since then: architecture books, cinema posters, a vinyl of a band that doesn't exist on any streaming service, and once a crate of my uncle's orange-blossom honey — declared, allowed, and legendary at the arrivals hall.
